A matter of the heart at Christmas!
Our commitment helps disadvantaged children and children with cancer to gain valuable prospects for their future!
Dear business partners, dear customers,
This year, we have once again decided to make a statement about humanity instead of giving traditional Christmas gifts. Instead, our Christmas budget is going to charitable projects that are particularly close to our hearts. We have donated €3,000 to the German Childhood Cancer Foundation and €2,000 to the Austrian Children’s Cancer Aid. Our goal is to help sick and disadvantaged children and their families, to give them a reason to smile and to offer them a hopeful perspective for the future.
Due to cost-saving measures in hospitals, funding associations are facing new challenges and depend on important donations to give children with cancer a hopeful future, the opportunity to get well and to live a life without restrictions. They also support families in financial difficulties in a supportive and empathetic way.
It is particularly important to us that our donations are used where they are most urgently needed. We are pleased to report that the amounts we have donated have had a significant positive impact on the organizations mentioned. Mr. Fruth from the German Childhood Cancer Foundation (Parents’ Initiative Intern 3 at the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital Munich) explained that effective pain management is crucial for physical and mental health. Pain management for children with cancer aims to alleviate pain and improve quality of life through a combination of medication and non-medication methods. The donations are used to support pain therapies and treatments. Mr. Steinbichler from the Austrian Children’s Cancer Aid reported that the donations are mainly used to directly support families who have fallen on hard times financially due to their child’s illness. In addition, funds are used to equip child-friendly areas on oncology wards and to support research activities.
